Jacqueline Ward

Jacqueline Ward is a Toronto visual artist who was born in Birmingham England, and moved to Canada in 1981.Her art education include studies at the Bournville School of Art, England, Sheridan College, Ontario College of Art, York University ande The Open Studio in Toronto.

Her paintings are executed in a variety of media, incorporating non-traditional materials in a dynamic exploration of texture and theme. She has continued to explore the processes and possibilities of art-making, with print and drawing media. Her subject matter combines the abstract with the representational, bringing an interpretive quality to the universal themes of humanity.
